Policies

Below are some of our most important policies. Please note that not all policies are listed here. All policies will be included in the online enrollment process.

Required Vaccinations

Verification of vaccines are required before arrival. We require Bordetella (every 6 months), Distemper/Parvo Virus, and Rabies. If vaccinations are expired, they must be administered 10 days before attending Canine & Company Dog Resort.

Age Requirement

We require the completion of all core vaccines (series of 3 puppy shots), including rabies vaccination, to participate in all our services.

Spay & Neuter Policy

All dogs over the age of 7 months are to be spayed or neutered in order to attend daycare and boarding. Please note that Canine & Co. Dog Resort reserves the right to change our policy at any time.

Leash & Collar

All dogs entering the Resort are to be on a leash and have a collar with their name tag. Choke, Prong, Shock, Citronella are not allowed.

Food & Treats

Please provide your dog's food and treats in order to keep them on a consistent diet to prevent gastrointestinal problems. Canine & Co. Dog Resort kindly requests that each meal is pre-packaged for dogs staying less than 7 days; if longer than 7 days, bring food in gallon bags. If you choose not to bring food, Canine & Co. Dog Resort will provide 2 meals for $5.00 a day. We do have a refrigerator for guests on raw diets.

Bedding & Personal Items

Canine & Co. Dog Resort will furnish elevated and cozy bedding, toys and bowls for all guests due to safety and sanitation concerns; this ensures a clean environment and no lost items. For those who suffer separation anxiety, you are welcome to bring a t-shirt with the scent of home should you think this will make your dog happy. Please clearly label the t-shirt with dog's first and last name. Rawhides are not allowed onsite since they can become a choking hazard.

Dog Temperaments

Boarding And Daycare guests must be social with other guests and staff.

Medication

Written instructions are required. Include name of medication, reason, and how many times a day it is to be administered. Do not add medication with packaged food, including vitamins. Please bring pill pockets, cheese, meatballs, etc. to assist in administering medication. We do not charge for administering medication to our overnight guests.

Breed Restrictions

We accept all breeds. Guests are assessed based on their individual temperament.

Holiday & Early Closures

Canine & Co. Dog Resort lobby will close at 2:00 pm on New Year's Eve, day before Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. The lobby will be closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Online New Client Information

All Online New Client Information and Agreement must be completed before services are provided.
